Chelsea runs along Manhattan’s west side from 14th Street to about 30th Street, with the gallery district between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and the Meatpacking District at its southern edge. Old industrial and printing buildings left wide floors and high ceilings behind, which is a big reason so many fashion shows and brand activations land here.
The rooms we list split three ways. Raw lofts and studios that take any build: The Altman Building, Chelsea Industrial and Studio 525. Waterfront rooms at Chelsea Piers with the Hudson outside the windows. And nightlife rooms and rooftops in the Meatpacking District for launch parties.
The C and E at 23rd Street, the 1 at 18th and 23rd, and the A, C, E and L at 14th Street put most of these rooms within a short walk. Weekends bring High Line and gallery crowds, which helps a public pop-up and slows down a vendor load-in.
A raw loft is only as good as its load-in. Ask about the freight elevator size, street access and how early vendors can arrive before you commit to a big build.
A runway or activation: Chelsea Industrial or The Altman Building. A 1,000-guest gala: Pier Sixty. A launch party: the Meatpacking rooftops and club rooms.
The High Line and the galleries fill the streets on weekends. Good for foot traffic at a pop-up, harder for trucks and a tight setup window.
Send us the date, headcount and format. We’ll come back with the rooms that fit and what the space will cost.

The raw lofts and studios are the most flexible. Studio 525 and Chelsea Industrial allow outside caterers, and The Altman Building allows them with the venue’s approval. The pier ballrooms and the Meatpacking lounges use their own kitchens.
Yes. Raw lofts here host New York Fashion Week shows every season, and they come with the floor length, ceiling height and power a runway needs.
