Bateaux New York is a long, low motor yacht whose dining deck is enclosed in curved glass from the rail to the roof. The interior runs as one open room of banquettes and tables under globe chandeliers, with a hardwood dance floor and two outdoor decks for walking out into the air.
For a private charter the whole vessel takes up to 300 guests, about 250 for a plated dinner. It boards at Pier 61 at Chelsea Piers, and the kitchen on board handles plated, buffet or passed menus. Charters run from about two hours to a full day.
