One of the few yachts in Manhattan that can take a 600-person company party on a single vessel, with a stacked atrium, dance floors and an open top deck facing the skyline.
Spirit of New York is a 175 ft, four-deck dining yacht run by City Cruises out of Pier 61 at Chelsea Piers. The two lower decks share an open atrium with a curved staircase, glass rails and windows down both sides, so guests on each level can see the dance floor below. Above them sits the Horizon Deck and an open-air top deck with lounge seating.
For a private charter the whole ship books as one venue for up to 600 guests at a reception, about 525 with a buffet or 300 at a plated dinner. The house kitchen and bar team handle food and drink, and the vessel carries a DJ setup, sound, lit dance floors and Wi-Fi. A typical cruise loops the Hudson and the harbor past the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan.
