Two landmarked Philip Johnson dining rooms in the Seagram Building, run by Major Food Group, which gives a gala or a client dinner a setting guests already know by name.
The Pool and The Grill occupy the ground-floor restaurant space of the Seagram Building, the rooms Philip Johnson designed in 1959 for the Four Seasons. Major Food Group restored them in 2016. The Pool is built around a white marble pool with rippling metal chain curtains, and The Grill keeps its walnut and bronze look.
The Pool now works as the group's private events room, seating about 180 on its main level, with a lounge for more. Booked together, the two rooms hold about 300 for cocktails in The Grill and dinner in The Pool, or around 600 for a standing reception. The Grill also has two small private rooms for 15 and 22 guests.

Recent galas ran cocktails in The Grill and dinner in The Pool.
