A members-club style townhouse bar inside Rockefeller Center, with a top floor reached by its own elevator, so a host gets a private house feel in the middle of Midtown.
Pebble Bar fills a 19th-century townhouse on West 49th Street that was home to Hurley's, an Irish bar that famously refused to sell when Rockefeller Center was built around it. The current bar opened in 2022 with interiors by Gachot Studios. Each floor has its own mood: a glass-and-brass bar on the second floor facing Sixth Avenue, a blue dining room with a marble oyster bar on the third, and a private lounge on top.
The top floor, called Johnny's, is reserved for private events of up to 50 guests and has its own entrance, elevator, restrooms, coat check and bar, plus sofas and a piano. A full buyout of all three floors takes up to 150 guests. Open bar packages are offered in tiers, and the events team shapes food and drink to the group.
