A retired aircraft carrier on the Hudson, where guests eat and drink among vintage jets with the Midtown skyline behind them.
The Intrepid Museum is set on a retired aircraft carrier docked at Pier 86. It rents 13 spaces, from the open flight deck to the hangar bays below and the Space Shuttle Pavilion. Jets, the shuttle and the river do most of the decorating.
The flight deck takes up to 1,500 guests. Hangar 3 covers more than 9,000 sq ft and holds 1,200 standing or 900 seated, and Hangar 2 takes 700. Rentals are priced per space for a four-hour event.
