Photo: Hotel Hugo
A glass-walled lounge on top of a west SoHo hotel that gives a 100-guest event a full river sunset without the scale or cost of a large rooftop venue.
Bar Hugo sits at the top of Hotel Hugo on Greenwich Street, where SoHo meets Hudson Square. The room is enclosed in floor-to-ceiling glass, so it works year round, with lounge seating, low tables, palms and a round service bar. Views run west over the Hudson River and south toward the downtown skyline.
For a private event the lounge holds up to 115 standing or 100 seated. The hotel runs a second rooftop bar, Azul on the Rooftop, an open-air deck that also takes up to 115 and can serve as a separate space for a larger program. Food and drink come from the hotel, and the room has a built-in PA system.

Glass walls and river light give a reveal a strong backdrop.
