A working SoHo bookstore with a cobblestone street entrance, a spiral stair and two stories of wood shelving, so a launch or benefit feels like a downtown literary night rather than a rented room.
The bookstore sits at street level on Crosby Street, one of the last cobblestone blocks in SoHo. Inside, a double-height room is lined with dark wood shelves, a spiral staircase climbs to a book-lined balcony, and a cafe counter runs along one side. It is run by Housing Works, a New York nonprofit, and sales support its programs.
The room takes about 150 for a cocktail reception or 114 seated, with the shop closed to the public for full private rentals. A small stage area, house sound, microphones, lighting and a projector are on hand for talks and readings. Floor plans cover reception, seated dinner and theater layouts for 75.

Book and product launches fit the shelves, stage and street entrance.
