PUBLIC is Ian Schrager's pared-back Lower East Side hotel, with close to 19,000 sq ft of event space spread across the building. ARTSPACE is a bi-level club on the lower level with its own entrance on Chrystie Street, while Sophia and The Roof sit high up with floor-to-ceiling views of the skyline.
ARTSPACE is set up for performance, with a stage, DJ booth, full lighting and AV, and takes roughly 300 to 350 for a reception. Sophia seats about 175 for dinner, and The Roof holds around 300. Popular, the hotel's Peruvian restaurant, and Chrystie Park outdoors add more options for a buyout.
