Photo: Prince George Ballroom
A restored 1904 hotel ballroom with a painted coffered ceiling and gilded columns, rented as a room with its own caterer list, so the budget goes into the event rather than a hotel minimum.
The ballroom was built for the Prince George Hotel in the early 1900s and restored after the building became supportive housing run by the nonprofit Breaking Ground. The main room has a hand-painted coffered ceiling, carved and gilded columns, wood floors and wall sconces. Next door, the Gallery is a white-walled room with exposed brick and a mezzanine, and the Ladies' Tea Room has vaulted ceilings and green columns.
The Ballroom covers 4,800 sq ft and holds 400 standing, 300 at a banquet or 330 theater style. Adding the Gallery gives a separate reception or exhibit room for up to 225 standing. The venue is rented as a space, and food and bar service come from its list of approved caterers.

Seats 300 for dinner under the painted ceiling.
