The marble halls of the main library on Fifth Avenue, one of the few landmark rooms in the city that lets you bring your own caterer and production team.
The Stephen A. Schwarzman Building is the Beaux-Arts main branch of the library at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street. Astor Hall is a white marble entrance with a vaulted ceiling. The Celeste Bartos Forum sits under a glass and cast-iron dome, and the McGraw Rotunda, Salomon Room and Trustees Room are also available.
Events run after the library closes, typically 7 p.m. to midnight. The building takes up to 750 standing or 425 seated across its spaces. Outside caterers and AV teams are allowed once the Library approves them.
