Manhattan's oldest museum, facing Central Park, where a 50 ft stained-glass library, a picture-lined hall and a 409-seat auditorium let one venue handle the program, the dinner and the reception.
The New York Historical, founded in 1804, fills a granite building on Central Park West next to the American Museum of Natural History. Its Patricia D. Klingenstein Library has neoclassical columns, a gallery rail, 50 ft ceilings and stained-glass windows given in 1908. Dexter Hall is a long gallery hung with paintings, and the fourth floor holds a two-level gallery of 100 lit Tiffany lamps joined by a glass stair.
The gallery off the Central Park West entrance takes 450 for a reception and has a brandable display wall and digital column screens. The library holds 300 for a reception or 200 seated, Dexter Hall 300 or 250 seated, and the Tiffany gallery 300. The Robert H. Smith Auditorium seats 409 across orchestra and balcony, with in-house AV support.

Dinner for 200 in the stained-glass library, reception in Dexter Hall.
